About the Journal

Veterinary and Zootechnical Sciences is a peer-reviewed journal that accepts original research, case reports or review articles in the fields of Veterinary Medicine (Internal Medicine, Surgery, Microbiology, Virology, Biochemistry, Histology and Embryology  Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproduction and Artificial Insemination, Parasitology, Anatomy, Pharmacology, Veterinary Genetics, Food Hygiene and Technology,  Animal Nutrition and Nutritional Diseases, Laboratory Animals) and Zootechnics (Animal Husbandry and Breeding, Feed Information and Animal Nutrition, Aquaculture, Beekeeping).  Our journal publishes two publications per year, six months apart.

In accordance with the privacy statement of our journal, all information sent will be used only for scientific purposes. This information will not be used for any other purpose or section and will not be shared with third parties. Veterinary and Zootechnical Sciences uses a double-blind peer-review system in the publication evaluation process. In this regard, the identities of the editor, author and referees are kept confidential.

Manuscripts submitted to our journal must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. During the submission process, authors are required to complete and upload the Copyright and License Agreement through the journal's submission system. The agreement must be approved and signed by all authors. Manuscripts submitted without a completed Copyright and License Agreement will not be considered for peer review.

Journal of Scientific and Zootechnical Sciences (VZS) is committed to the international ethical rules of scientific publishing. Our journal is based on transparency, impartiality and academic honesty in each of its roles as author, reviewer, editor and publisher.
