Call for Papers – Volume 2, Issue 2 (December 2026)
The journal is an international, open access, fully free publication and operates under a double-blind peer-review process. All accepted manuscripts are published under the CC BY 4.0 license.
Editorial Board
The Editorial Board of Veterinary and Zootechnical Sciences (e-ISSN: 3108-4087) is committed to conducting the editorial process in accordance with the principles of impartiality, transparency, and publication ethics. Editors manage only manuscripts within their areas of expertise. Reviewer selection, peer review management, and editorial decisions are carried out based on scientific quality, academic integrity, confidentiality, and the absence of conflicts of interest.
Our journal uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Before undertaking editorial responsibilities, editors are encouraged to complete the Editorial Workflow in OJS 3.3 training modules (especially Modules 2–10). These modules provide essential guidance on manuscript assignment, reviewer invitations, peer review management, editorial decision-making, copyediting, and production workflows.

He worked as a Veterinarian in the private sector between 2004-2014 in the fields of Pet, Poultry and Cattle Medicine. He also carried out commercial beekeeping activities with 200 colonies of bees. He is member number 326 of Bolu Beekeepers Association. He started canary breeding as a hobby and continued it professionally and is a member of Bolu Ornithology Association. Özkök, who completed his PhD at Ondokuz Mayıs University/Graduate Education Institute/Reproduction and Artificial Insemination (Dr)/ 2021, carries out studies and projects in the field of protecting wild finch species that are under threat of extinction, in addition to studies on sperm quality, cryopreservation and artificial insemination in honey bees and songbirds.

Burcu ESİN, graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Ondokuz Mayıs University in 2015 and completed his PhD in Reproduction and Artificial Insemination at the Graduate School of the same university in 2023. Her research focuses on spermatological analyses in various animal species, assessment of DNA damage, semen and tissue cryopreservation, and advanced reproductive biotechnologies. She has worked as a researcher and principal investigator in various scientific studies on reproduction, semen preservation and reproductive biotechnology, and has published articles related to these fields in national and international journals.
