AI Use Policy

Veterinary and Zootechnical Sciences (VZS) permits the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools only for language editing, grammar correction, spelling, and improving writing clarity and consistency in manuscripts submitted to the journal. AI tools must not be used to generate, manipulate, fabricate, or falsify scientific content, research data, figures, images, analyses, or conclusions.

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and scientific validity of all content submitted to the journal. Any use of AI tools must be transparently disclosed in the Ethics Statement section of the manuscript. AI tools must not be listed as authors or cited as references.

Veterinary and Zootechnical Sciences (VZS) is committed not to using AI tools at any stage of the editorial, peer-review, or publication decision-making process. All editorial evaluations and peer-review decisions are conducted exclusively by qualified editors and independent reviewers.

The journal adopts the principles set forth in the Ethical Guidelines on the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence published by the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye (YÖK).
