Call for Papers – Volume 2, Issue 2 (December 2026)
The journal is an international, open access, fully free publication and operates under a double-blind peer-review process. All accepted manuscripts are published under the CC BY 4.0 license.
Veterinary and Zootechnical Sciences (VZS) adopts the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) system to ensure transparency in authorship contributions.
Effective from Volume 2, Issue 2 (2026), all submitted manuscripts must include an Author Contribution Statement. The statement must accurately describe the contribution of each author to the study. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all authors have reviewed and approved the contribution statement before submission.
Authors may contribute to one or more of the following roles:
Author Contributions
A.O.Ö.: Conceptualization, Methodology, Investigation, Writing – Original Draft, Supervision.
J.S.: Data Curation, Formal Analysis, Visualization.
M.K.: Validation, Writing – Review & Editing.
Individuals who do not meet the journal's authorship criteria should not be listed as authors and may instead be acknowledged in the Acknowledgements section.

All submitted manuscripts are assigned to the appropriate Section Editor according to their subject area. The Section Editor independently manages the peer-review process and makes the editorial decision based on the reviewers' reports. The Editor-in-Chief oversees the journal's publication policies, ethical standards, and academic quality without participating in these independent editorial decisions.
