Call for Papers – Volume 2, Issue 2 (December 2026)
The journal is an international, open access, fully free publication and operates under a double-blind peer-review process. All accepted manuscripts are published under the CC BY 4.0 license.
Veterinary and Zootechnical Sciences (VZS) is committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and impartial editorial process. Authors, reviewers, and readers may submit complaints or appeals regarding editorial decisions, publication ethics, or the journal's editorial processes.
Complaints and appeals should be submitted in writing to the Editorial Office via editor@vetzoosci.com and should include sufficient information and supporting evidence to enable a thorough evaluation.
All complaints and appeals will be reviewed confidentially by the Editor-in-Chief or, where appropriate, by an editorial board member who is not involved in the matter. If necessary, the journal will follow the recommendations and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
The Editorial Office will make every effort to acknowledge receipt of complaints promptly and to provide a fair and timely resolution.

All submitted manuscripts are assigned to the appropriate Section Editor according to their subject area. The Section Editor independently manages the peer-review process and makes the editorial decision based on the reviewers' reports. The Editor-in-Chief oversees the journal's publication policies, ethical standards, and academic quality without participating in these independent editorial decisions.
