Veterinary and Zootechnical Sciences (VZS) supports the dissemination of scientific knowledge through Open Access while preserving the integrity of the scholarly record.

Authors retain the copyright of their published work. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.

The published Version of Record may be shared immediately upon publication in institutional repositories, personal websites, academic social networking platforms, and other appropriate archiving platforms. When sharing, authors must provide a complete bibliographic citation indicating that the article was published in Veterinary and Zootechnical Sciences (VZS). Articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, which permits unrestricted sharing and reuse, provided that appropriate credit is given.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, must not have been previously published in whole or in part, and must not be under consideration for publication by another journal at the time of submission.
